Arriving in Sydney at the age of 18, I was eager to learn about the world of showbusiness. This was 1969 and King Cross was buzzing. I started singing in the Sydney clubs, went touring and travelled further afield.
During my 16 year singing career, I worked a lot on television as well as in clubs all over the world, on ships and in concert venues including the Entertainment Centre and the Sydney Opera House.
It was a great adventure. I had the privilege of meeting and working with extraordinary and talented people.
