In the 70s when I was working as a singer around the Sydney Clubs, an English comedian named Dave Burke was about to launch a new magazine for the entertainment industry. It was called Encore Magazine. Andrew Urban and I got involved and bought Encore from Dave and his wife Sybil. We developed and ran it - it filled an important void in the industry.
